Recycle for us

Throwing stuff away is something we’re all guilty of, but what may seem like rubbish to you, could actually help raise money for someone with blood cancer.

Recycling is incredibly easy, doesn’t require any planning and when combined in a group effort amongst friends, family and work colleagues, can have the opportunity to raise a lot of money and help us raise awareness of blood cancers.

Currency

Have you returned from your holiday with foreign currency you don’t want, or perhaps you’ve had foreign coins and notes lying around somewhere for quite some time now. If you’re not going to use them again, why not donate them to us and you’ll be helping someone with blood cancer? How to send your currency to us You can request one of our pre-paid currency boxes. These are available by contacting: T: 01413 289 357 E: leukaemiacare@xchange-master.co.uk Once you have received your box, complete the form sent with the box, place it in the box with your currency and we will send you a letter of thanks and another box. Old Cars

We’ve teamed up with Giveacar to offer you an easy, hassle-free way to donate your vehicle, which is quickly turned into much-needed funds. You can choose to donate all the money or half of it to us, and it doesn’t cost you a penny. How it works 1. Contact Giveacar who will go through your details and arrange a convenient time to have your vehicle picked up. 2. Your car is picked up within three days to ten days. 3. Your car is sent to scrap or auction and the proceeds are donated to us. Why donate your old car?

Inkjet Cartridges

For every usable inkjet cartridge sent in, we receive £1, so if you have any old inkjet cartridges – don’t throw them away! For more information get in touch via fundraising@leukaemiacare.org.uk or call 01905 755977. Or Send your ink cartridges into us by requesting a pre-paid envelope here.

Old Mobile Phones

We receive 50% of the market value of any old mobile phones (up to the value of £70). If you have any old mobile phones that you don’t know what to do with – don’t throw them away, send them into us!
