Gamers raise over £500 for Leukaemia Care!

Over one weekend a group of gamers from the Stallion Streaming Community (SSC) turned their passion of gaming into a fundraising event for Leukaemia Care.

A group of gamers worked together over one weekend to raise over £500 for Leukaemia Care.

Turning their passion into a fundraising event, an online gaming community spent the weekend streaming their gameplay – this means that others were able to watch them play the games and get involved with chat and fun over a weekend.

Throughout their gameplay, people chose to donate to the charity.

Over three days, the collective gamers played for over 72 hours.

The event was organised by Marco Galluzzo and he was delighted with the fundraising, “I’d just like to say thank you to everyone who supported both the Stallion Streaming Community [SSC] and Leukaemia Care UK charity over the course of the weekend. With the help and support of you fantastic people, we have been able to fundraise over £500.00 for a fantastic cause. This money will go directly to a charity that makes such a difference to the lives of others. As the founder of the [SSC] I am proud to say my community came together as a collective force and smashed our target, I couldn’t be any happier”
