Support Groups

Join our online community of over 400 people who are sharing their knowledge and experience to help support each other.

Join a Leukaemia or MPN Support Group

We run a wide range of support groups for patients and families affected by leukaemia and MPNs. These groups offer a safe space to connect, share experiences, and find comfort. In fact, whether you’ve just been diagnosed or have lived with the condition for some time, you may find them helpful.

Additionally, our members often share how much they benefit from both face-to-face and virtual sessions. As a result, joining a group can offer emotional support and understanding, especially during challenging times.

How to Register for a Virtual Support Group

Looking to join one of our virtual support groups? It’s easy to get started:

First, find the right group using the support group table below.
Next, click the registration link in the same row as your chosen group.
Finally, once registered, you’ll receive updates and communications about that group.

In addition, registering ensures you’ll stay informed about future sessions and any important changes. Therefore, we encourage you to sign up soon so you don’t miss out.

Types of Support Groups We Offer

National Groups

Our national support groups meet online, bringing together people who share the same diagnosis or are supporting someone with it. Consequently, these groups provide a unique opportunity to discuss your diagnosis with others who truly understand. What’s more, you can attend these groups from anywhere, making them highly convenient.

Special Interest Groups

These groups focus on particular topics rather than specific diagnoses.

Local Online Groups

Our local online support groups connect people from the same area, creating a community for sharing resources and experiences. Furthermore, these groups help you discover local services and professionals. Most importantly, they give you the chance to meet people who understand both your condition and the local context.

“You’ll come away with at least one piece of information that you didn’t know and the comfort of knowing that you are not alone.”
