Have you ever worried about what would happen if you were ever to relapse? Would you feel prepared for the psychological impact?
Treatment relapse and concern of future relapse are difficult challenges for patients to manage; this can be experienced by different leukaemia patients. Join us for our webinar which seeks to explore how this can be managed and what support is available to patients and families. We will be joined by a panel of experts on the 20th of April to discuss and answer many of your questions.
We will be joined by:
- Anne Crook, Counsellor / Psychotherapist, Psycho-oncology, The Christie NHS Foundation Trust
- Patient in treatment remission
- Patient with experience of chronic treatment relapse
- Patient with experience of acute treatment relapse

Who: Leukaemia Care and guest panel
Registration fee: Free
Who should join: Those affected by acute leukaemia treatment relapse. CLL patients whose current treatment has stopped working, or whose disease has returned from previous treatments. CML patients who have run out of treatment options and current treatment doesn’t work, or those whose disease has come back while they are on TFR. Family and friends of patients.
How do I join the webinar?
The webinar is being hosted on Zoom and Facebook, meaning you can choose a platform to suit you. Zoom is the best place to ask questions, but if you join via Facebook we will try and get all the questions sent over to our panel; however, please expect a delay.

To join via Zoom, all you need to do is register your attendance before the webinar starts. You will then receive an email inviting you to join the webinar on the day.

To join via Facebook, all you need is a Facebook account. Once logged in head to Leukaemia Care’s Facebook page at 3:30pm on 20th April and find the live video (it will be at the top of our feed).
