Funeral collections

Thank you for considering a funeral collection in memory of your loved one.

Many families choose to remember someone special by inviting donations instead of flowers. Whether you are arranging a collection, planning donations through a funeral director, or looking for simple guidance, we are here to help.

In memory icon: a person with a thought bubble coming out of their head. There is a heart in the thought bubble.

We are truly grateful that you are thinking of supporting Leukaemia Care at such a difficult time. Choosing to remember someone through a collection or donation is a deeply personal decision, and we hope it brings some comfort to know that your kindness will help people affected by leukaemia.

If you have any questions or would like support, our team is always here to help.

Collections online

Many people find it easiest to arrange donations online.

You may wish to create a tribute page in memory of your loved one. This provides a simple space where family and friends can share a photo, write a message, and make a donation if they choose to.

If you prefer, you can also make a donation online at any time.

Collections via a Funeral Director

Many funeral directors are happy to collect donations on behalf of a charity.

They will usually wait until all donations have been received before sending them to us. This process can sometimes take several weeks, so please do not worry if you do not hear from us straight away.

If you would like to let us know about an upcoming collection, we would be very pleased to hear from you and offer any support we can.

Memorial materials

If you would like to use donation envelopes or a collection box at the funeral, we can provide these for you.

You can order these materials via our online shop by clicking here.

Where can I send cheque donations?

Cheque donations can be made payable to Leukaemia Care and sent to:

Leukaemia Care

One Birch Court

Blackpole East

Worcester

WR3 8SG

If possible, please include a note letting us know who the donation is in memory of.

Can Gift Aid be applied to funeral donations?

Gift Aid can usually be claimed when donations are made by UK taxpayers who have completed a Gift Aid declaration. If you are unsure, we are happy to help.

Will donations be recorded in my loved one’s memory?

Yes. We are honoured to recognise gifts given in memory. Where details are provided, donations can be associated with your loved one.

How do I create a tribute page?

Creating a tribute page is simple and only takes a few minutes.
